Eden Gardens State Park
Stretching 161 acres, Eden Gardens has been renovated to give off that luxurious garden appeal it once had. The two-story Wesley house has moss-draped live oaks surrounding it and a beautiful landing in front. The Wesley’s were a wealthy timber family, their house was eventually bought in 1963 by Lois Maxon whom renovated it to have a majestic antique flare while sporting the family heirlooms. The second largest collection of Louis XVI furniture is sitting inside the home, to match the elegant interior. It is a great place to stop by, enjoy the scenery, and even have a picnic.
